Appointment strengthens LR’s widening portfolio of client focused assurance services to key sectors worldwide.
David Salmon has been appointed Head of Business Improvement Services at Lloyd’s Register (LR).
The challenge of globalisation, changing customer requirements, legislation and technology means that worldwide, organisations are increasingly turning to business improvement services, underpinned with client specific criteria, to help them meet their organisational goals.
With a strong pedigree in solutions led selling, Salmon has held senior leadership roles with DNV-GL, Ernst & Young and Enviros. In his new role, Salmon will focus on further strengthening the strategic direction and reach of LR’s wide range of professional business services across a broad array of sectors whilst further developing LR’s global market share in specialised assurance services.
“At LR, we know that every organisation is unique. Its needs, goals and objectives are different than any other organisation. This differentiates businesses and gives competitive advantage, but may also require a customised approach to the way business processes and programmes are identified, managed, measured and improved upon,” said Duane Wood, Marketing Director at LR Management Systems & Inspection Services. “David’s appointment strengthens our stated commitment to widening our service portfolio to deliver even greater value to more than 50,000 clients that we serve worldwide.”
